What’s for lunch? Here’s your chance to weigh in on new entrées, side dishes, and other food products your children may be offered for breakfast and lunch next school year. The PWCS food show, open to parents and children, will be held at Patriot High School on Thursday, March 6.
The tastings are open to the first 1,000 county students, parents, and staff to sign up in advance. There will be two tastings, one from 6–7 p.m. and a second from 7–8 p.m.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling the Office of School Food and Nutrition Services at 703.791.7314.
Results of taste tests and any suggestions for improving the food service program will be used to help School Food and Nutrition Services decide what to offer in schools next year.
